Flat tire

Among all other troubles you may face, having a flat tire is most likely one of them. In order to fix this problem you will need spare tire, jack and lug wrench. Initially you should loosen the lug nuts then lift up the vehicle with jack and take off the flat tyre after which put spare instead of it fixing it tightly with lug nuts finally lower down the car checking tire pressure before driving away.

Dead battery

Jumpstarting it is an easy way to deal with dead batteries leaving you stranded far from home. Jumper cables and another car having functional battery are needed for this task. What you do is connect positive cable to positive terminal of dead battery then connect opposite end of same cable to positive terminal of working battery followed by connecting negative cable onto negative terminal on working battery and attaching other end somewhere metal part connected or touching any bare metal surface within engine compartment area such as bolt head etc., start the working vehicle first and broken one second.

Overheating engine

Engine overheating could cause serious damage if ignored hence immediate action required when noticed happening . When your car starts overheating turn off air conditioner (A/C) switch on heater full blast since it will help dissipate heat away from engine block but if temperature continues rising after doing so pull over stop engine let cool down completely open radiator cap check coolant level fill up necessary then close tight again start continue monitoring temperature gauge needle do not exceed normal range if does resume driving normally otherwise seek professional assistance immediately .

Squeaky brakes

Squealing noise produced by brake systems during application can be more than just discomfort signifying worn out pads which need replacement. To fix squeaky brakes jack up vehicle remove wheel take off brake caliper swap old pad with new one always make sure rotor surface is clean from any dust or dirt if not get rid of them by using brake cleaner before reinstalling everything back together lower down car test drive around block listen carefully for another sound.

Faulty spark plugs

Once in a while cars may fail to start due to faulty spark plugs also they could lead running rough. In case you want to replace them, find spark plug wires detach them one after the other using a spark plug socket wrench loosen and remove old one fitting new tighten then reconnect wire repeat this process for each plug.

Broken headlights

It’s illegal and dangerous driving around town with broken headlight therefore consider changing it as soon as possible. To change a headlight bulb open the hood locate rear part of headlight assembly disconnect power wires unscrew old bulb insert new one screw it tight connect power again try switch on-off see whether lights up if yes then close back cover properly but if not recheck connections still doesn’t work consult manual.

Stuck windows

Bad weather conditions can make stuck auto window frustrating especially when raining heavily. If your power window is stuck press switch down while holding glass firmly push downwards but should that fail check fuse box for blown fuses replace accordingly in case of manual windows regulator might be culprit which needs replacement using basic tools like pliers etcetera.

WIPER FAILURE

Your vision can be impaired by bad weather if your windshield wipers fail. To address this, examine the blades of the wiper for damage and replace them if needed. If that doesn’t work, inspect the washer motor and linkage for any problems. A couple of tools are all you need to fix a wiper motor.

FLUID LEAKS

Fluid leaks might indicate a serious problem with your car. Determine the type of fluid by its color and where it is leaking from. Oil, coolant, brake fluid and transmission fluid are some common leakages. Depending on which one it is you may have to tighten a hose clamp, replace a gasket or repair a cracked reservoir.

AC BREAKDOWN

Driving can be uncomfortable during hot weather without an operating air conditioner.
