Education: Formal, Informal & Non-formal education systems Acknowledging the real nature of education, it undeniably acts as the most basic building block for self as well as societal growth.   • Assessment and Evaluation: In more formal types of education, one of the regular activities performed is an appraisal of the pupils to test their understanding and learning skills either by way of exams, quizzes, assignments, and even projects. Informal education is a type of education that is quite different when compared to formal education in that it does not follow the traditional approaches of learning in a classroom.
